What cats should not eat
Human food is high in salt.
cats cannot sweat out salt in the same way as people. Therefore, if you feed them food that people eat, they will ingest too much salt, which puts a strain on their internal organs.

cuttlefish and octopus
Rapid vitamin B1 deficiency and indigestion.
High levels of vitamin B1-degrading enzymes cause anorexia and nerve palsy.
Dried fish, dried bonito flakes, dried seaweed, mineral water
Diarrhoea, urinary tract disease.
Minerals form stones that combine with proteins in the urine.
(loaf of) bread
It can cause heart, kidney and liver disease.
Bread contains a lot of salt, which is hard on the internal organs.
spring onions, leeks
It causes spring onion poisoning.
Anaemia is caused by the ingredients in spring onions. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhoea and, in severe cases, bright red bloody urine and white eye conjunctiva. Symptoms may vary from individual to individual, but symptoms appear in about one hour.
raw egg
Diarrhoea, dermatitis and conjunctivitis can occur.
This is due to vitamin destruction by a component called avidin, but this is not a problem if heat processes are used.
Bones of fried chicken
It can damage the oesophagus and intestines.
Chewing causes the bone to crack and become sharply pointed. Swallowing this can be life-threatening.
Chocolate
Chocolate poisoning.
The theopromine in chocolate causes symptoms such as diarrhoea, vomiting, cramps and irregular heartbeat because it stimulates the central nervous system.
Liliaceae (the lily family of plants)
It develops acute kidney injury.
Cats do not have the ability to break down plant toxins. Even eating a few flower petals can lead to acute kidney injury and death.
aroma oil
Toxins accumulate in the cat's body.
Aromatic oils (essential oils) are dangerous for cats as they can be poisonous. This is because cats' livers are not equipped to detoxify plant toxins, so some essential oils cannot be detoxified and accumulate.
